Lakhpati Didi crosses 1.5 crore women across 34 states

The mission to make 3 crore rural women lakhpatis has crossed the halfway mark, with average household income up 2.3x in participating SHGs.

Launched in 2023, Lakhpati Didi supports women SHG members to earn at least ₹1 lakh per year through enterprises in dairy, handlooms, processed foods and drone services.

Uttar Pradesh leads with 28 lakh certified Lakhpati Didis, followed by Bihar (19 lakh) and Madhya Pradesh (16 lakh).
