PMGSY-IV: 25,000 km of new village roads sanctioned for FY26
The Cabinet has cleared the fourth phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana with a ₹70,125 crore outlay.

The Ministry of Rural Development will connect 25,000 km of unconnected habitations with all-weather roads under PMGSY-IV between 2026 and 2029.
Priority will be given to tribal blocks, aspirational districts, and habitations with populations above 250 in plain areas and 100 in hill regions.
